Leidos has an exciting entry level opportunity to support geospatial data production within our Geospatial Integration and Solutions Portfolio.  Are you interested in working with a dynamic team of geospatial analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to produce geospatial datasets that support national defense and humanitarian assistance missions globally?  Are you a detail-oriented self-starter with strengths in quality and a desire to learn new skills applied to geospatial data production?  Are you interested in a flexible work schedule with the ability to work from home or from the office as needed?  Our team fosters a close-knit environment and is comprised of people who are dedicated to our customer’s mission.  If you would like to join a team that cares about helping our customers succeed in their missions, we look forward to welcoming you on board. 

 

Minimum Required Qualifications: 

  • Highschool Diploma or GED 

  • US Citizen 

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications in a Microsoft Windows environment 

  • Completion of any of the following: 

  • On-line ArcPro training through ESRI  

  • HS or College coursework in GIS, with specific experience using ESRI ArcMap/Pro 

  • Experience and/or training using open source GIS platforms such as QGIS 

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or related discipline 

  • Experience with Python for GIS (ArcPy or equivalent) 

  • Experience with Maritime

  • Professional experience using GIS to create specification compliant feature data or cartographic products

Pay Range:Pay Range $30,550.00 - $55,225.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
