Be an Early Applicant
Provide technical consultation and develop customer-specific solutions for semiconductor, optics, and microelectronics customers. Support DELO equipment (UV LED lamps, dispensing systems), run feasibility studies, integrate processes, identify new technologies, and collaborate closely with Sales Engineering and global DELO teams. Deliver on-site and remote technical support across North America.
Your Tasks:
- Work on complex, adhesive and equipment-related projects with a focus on the semiconductor/ optics/ micro electronics market
- Take responsibility for the development of customer-specific solutions through to full process integration
- Identify and implement the right technical solutions for our customers in close collaboration with the Sales Engineering team
- Support and manage DELO Equipment Activities, including UV LED lamps and dispensing systems
- Drive our growth through excellent technical consultation of customers across North America, working hand-in-hand with Sales Engineers
- Systematically identify new technologies in cooperation with Sales and Product Management, and implement them into customers' production processes
- Conduct feasibility studies, derive appropriate follow-up measures, and present results to internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain close communication with various DELO teams worldwide
- Provide comprehensive technical support to sales engineers — on-site, virtually, or by phone
Your Skills:
- You are located in or willing to relocate to the Greater Boston Area (MA)
- Degree in Engineering, e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Material Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering , or a related technical field (Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree welcome)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical environment — preferably as an Application Engineer in the adhesive or semiconductor/ optics/ micro electronics sector
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems independently and systematically
- Prior expertise in adhesives is not required — you will receive intensive and hands-on training at our headquarters in Germany
- Willingness to travel as required (domestically and internationally)
