Job Description:
Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is looking for a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism. This role is based in our Burlington and Peabody, MA locations.About the Role:
Join our busy academic practice and provide comprehensive care for a variety of endocrine and metabolic conditions. You'll be part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team and deliver care at the highest professional standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Independently manage patients with type 1, type 2, and other forms of diabetes.
- Treat endocrine disorders like thyroid disease and osteoporosis.
- Work autonomously while collaborating with a team of experts.
- Deliver care at the top of your licensure.
- Contribute to education and research, with opportunities to teach, mentor, and initiate scholarly projects.
Our Team & Education:
You'll be part of a robust and supportive team, including:
- 8 APPs, 11 physicians, 3 RN Diabetes Care and Education Specialists, and dedicated support staff.
- Innovative APP Fellowship and ACGME-certified Endocrinology Fellowship programs.
- Opportunities for faculty appointments at UMass Chan-Lahey Medical School.
Qualifications:
We are seeking a candidate with:
- At least 1 year of clinical diabetes management experience OR 5+ years of primary care experience that includes diabetes and endocrine care.
- CDCES or BC-ADM certification or the desire to pursue.
- Research experience is a plus.
