ABOUT THIS ROLE Looking to make an impact behind the scenes of education? Join our mission-driven nonprofit supporting educational programs across Massachusetts. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll play a key role in sourcing, hiring, and onboarding talented educators and staff who support students in specialized education settings.

In this role, you will work closely with SEIS leadership and the Human Resources team to recruit diverse, qualified candidates, support hiring initiatives, and help ensure programs are staffed with the professionals needed to support student success.

We are looking for someone who is organized, collaborative, and passionate about connecting great talent with meaningful work in education. This is a remote hybrid role, requiring one day per week in the office at either our Northampton or Westborough, MA location.

COMPENSATION

$65,000 – $72,000 annually | Comprehensive benefits package included | Participation in MA State Retirement or MA Teachers Retirement System

RESPONSIBILITIES

✔ Recruit, screen, and hire qualified candidates for SEIS positions across Massachusetts

✔ Develop and maintain a pipeline of educators and staff for current and future openings

✔ Coordinate interviews, reference checks, and hiring logistics with HR and hiring managers

✔ Support workforce planning and assist with job description updates

✔ Promote SEIS opportunities through recruitment initiatives, partnerships, and events

✔ Ensure candidates complete required hiring documentation and compliance requirements

✔ Support inclusive hiring practices and DEI recruitment initiatives

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

✔ 3 years experience in a talent acquisition or similar role

✔ Possess knowledge of operations and procedures that relate to provision of K-12 general education

✔ Demonstrated analytical and effective organizational skills

✔ Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leadership and as part of a team

✔ Integrity and a history of ethical decision-making

✔ Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely in written and oral communication

✔ Public speaking skills and successful workforce training experience

✔ Ability to problem solve, including identifying the issue, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions

✔ Proven track record of being detail oriented, inquisitive and collaborative

✔ Understanding of talent recruitment and hiring practices

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

✔ Bachelor's Degree in business management, HR concentration preferred

✔ Skilled in use of Paycom for recruitment and hiring

✔ Skilled in use of Microsoft Excel software and financial systems

✔ Skilled in the use of the following Google Apps: Mail, Drive, Docs, Sheets and Calendar
