Manage and grow Andersen window and door sales by maintaining existing accounts, prospecting new customers, preparing take-offs and quotes, placing orders, arranging service, and visiting customers and job sites. Provide product expertise, resolve customer concerns, represent the company at community events, and lead, train, and oversee the inside sales support team.
Overview
The Outside Sales - Andersen position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Andersen Window and Door sales, including quoting, ordering and servicing. This position is responsible for maintaining an existing customer base as well as prospecting new business. The Outside Sales - Andersen position also provides leadership and supervision to an Inside Sales support team.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:
- Maintain and prospect new customer accounts and business.
- Generate take-offs, produce quotes, place orders, and set up service.
- Visit job sites and customers as needed.
- Provide advice and expertise to customers on products.
- Handle all customer issues or concerns, ensuring an excellent customer experience.
- Stay in tune with new products as they come available from vendors.
- Represent Shepley and Andersen in the community at events and programs.
- Provide leadership, training and oversight to inside sales support.
Qualifications:
- 5 -- 10 years of window and doors sales expereince preferred. Ideally, 2 years in outside sales.
- Superior customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and commitment to high quality work.
- High level of professionalism and self-directed approach.
- Valid driver's license required.
- High school diploma required, college degree preferred.
