The Partnership Analytics team is critical to delivering on this mission. Partnerships are one of Root’s most important growth levers, enabling us to reach new customers through innovative distribution models. As Manager of Partnership Analytics, you will lead a high-performing team of analysts dedicated to evaluating, optimizing, and scaling our partner portfolio. You’ll work closely with leaders across Business Development, Partner Ops, Product, and Marketing—bringing clarity through data, challenging assumptions with disciplined analysis, and shaping strategy with compelling insights.


This role reports to the Director of Growth Analytics & Decision Science and offers the opportunity to directly influence Root’s growth trajectory, while building the frameworks and talent that make partnership analytics a durable competitive advantage.


Salary Range:  $155,000 - $165,000 (Bonus and LTI eligible)

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead and develop a team of analysts focused on Strategic Partners & B2B2C channels.
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into analytical frameworks, experiments, and models.
  • Partner with BD, Partner Ops, and Product to evaluate, onboard, and optimize partner relationships.
  • Build and maintain scalable dashboards and reporting infrastructure to measure partner performance and economics.
  • Conduct cohort, funnel, and retention analyses to diagnose partner effectiveness.
  • Own testing and measurement frameworks for partner pilots and growth initiatives.
  • Serve as the analytics “voice of truth” in cross-functional partner strategy discussions.

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • 6+ years in analytics, decision science, or data strategy, with at least 3+ years managing analysts.
  • Strong experience in SQL, experimentation design, and applied statistics.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional leaders with data-driven insights.
  • Experience with partnership or B2B2C analytics strongly preferred (but not required).
  • Balance of strategic thinking and hands-on analytical execution.
  • Effective communication and storytelling skills. Able to frame technical findings in a clear, strategic way for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits and a high ownership mindset. You take initiative and thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
