CTP is looking for an Analytics Intern.

We love working with talented people, and we continually look for compassionate co-workers with a collaborative spirit to add to our community. Our work moves quickly, and we’re great at coming together to find creative solutions for our clients' most interesting problems. CTP’s wide array of work can be seen here.

In this role, you’ll work closely with our Media & Analytics team, with a particular focus on AI, automation, and emerging technology. You’ll help us research and experiment with new tools and approaches that can make our analytics and media work smarter, faster, and more effective, while also exploring opportunities for AI and automation across the agency.

This is a great fit for someone who is naturally curious, analytical, and excited to experiment. You don’t need to come in as an AI expert. We’re looking for someone who likes figuring out how things work, isn’t afraid to test new tools, and can think critically about where technology can solve real problems.

What you’ll do

  • Test and evaluate new tools, platforms, and workflows, particularly within media and analytics.
  • Help develop and test AI-powered or automated solutions that improve how we collect, organize, analyze, and communicate data.
  • Look for opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and make existing agency processes more efficient.
  • Document findings, experiments, and recommendations so successful ideas can be shared and adopted across teams.
  • Support data collection, organization, analysis, and reporting for client campaigns.
  • Help create and interpret dashboards and reporting outputs.
  • Assist with measurement strategies and frameworks to evaluate marketing effectiveness.
  • Learn and assist with campaign tracking and measurement, including UTMs, pixels, tags, and QA.
  • Explore tools used for client business intelligence, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, social listening platforms, CRMs, and other emerging technologies.
  • Turn data into clear findings and insights that can be easily understood by CTP teammates and clients.
  • Collaborate with teammates across analytics, media, strategy, and other disciplines to understand their needs and identify ways data, AI, and automation could help.

What you’ll learn

  • How an agency uses analytics to measure marketing performance and inform strategy.
  • How AI and automation can be applied to real-world media, analytics, and agency challenges.
  • How to evaluate emerging technology beyond the hype and identify tools that can meaningfully improve the way people work.
  • How marketing data is collected, organized, analyzed, and translated into useful insights.
  • How dashboards, measurement frameworks, and reporting are built for real client work.
  • How analytics partners with media, creative, strategy, and account teams within a full-service agency.
  • How to take an idea from research and experimentation through to a practical recommendation or working solution.

Qualifications

  • Ability to commute to our Boston office 2x/week (Tuesday and Wednesday).
  • Ability to work 16 hours per week based on a mutually agreed upon schedule.
  • Interest in analytics, data, AI, automation, and marketing technology.
  • Strong curiosity and willingness to learn, experiment, and troubleshoot.
  • Comfort working with data and spreadsheets, including Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate findings and ideas clearly.
  • Interest in exploring AI tools and thinking critically about how they can be used effectively and responsibly.
  • Coursework, projects, or previous experience involving analytics, data visualization, marketing, AI, automation, or related areas.

This is a paid internship at $15 per hour, with an expected schedule of 16 hours each week.

We are an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment. If you require a reasonable accommodation to complete any part of the application process or in your work once hired, please contact our Human Resources Department.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. We do not offer visa sponsorship for this role.
