You will answer critical business questions such as "what happened and why?" as well as perform robust statistical analyses to understand "what will happen next?", "when will it happen?" and "who will it impact?" to help our business partners identify ways to optimize their business processes.

Through industry leading tools, we empower all levels of the organization via analytics, reporting, data management, visualization and business technology, to name a few areas. In short, we consult with leaders on business intelligence needs and represent it in 'business speak' with powerful visualizations to enable advisor centricity, business performance and align associate activity metrics. On any given day, this could mean sourcing and structuring internal data, integrating third party data, deriving analytical insight, creating leading/lagging indicators or guiding data literacy to engage users in data driven decisioning across their teams. We are business people first, but we understand technology, coding, modeling and bring that together so we can guide functional strategy with analytics.

The Impact
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with customers to identify, measure and forecast key business drivers using advanced statistical analysis techniques
- Create and maintain detailed demand and capacity models providing insights for both short- and long-term needs
- Develop and implement descriptive, diagnostic and predictive analyses for business stakeholders to drive action and decision making
- Provide expert recommendations to improve business operations and strategies
- Engage with all levels across the enterprise to navigate ambiguity and deliver results.
- Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations and reports
- Utilize industry best practices to visualize data to enable quick and easy insight
- Participate as a member of the Analytics & Insights team to achieve team specific goals
The Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years utilizing SQL
- 5+ years utilizing analytics tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, R, Python, etc.
- 5+ years communicating data insights to leaders
- 5+ years applying statistics principles to business data to generate insight
- 2+ years of experience delivering complex analysis in an actionable format
- 2+ years of experience using analytical and problem-solving abilities with a track record for solving complex problems using techniques such as data mining, exploratory data analysis and predictive statistical modeling
The Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, quantitative, or analytical field
- Master's degree in Business Analytics
- Strong interpersonal communication, conflict management, coordination, and planning skills with cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of how data and analytics support business operations, particularly within New Business and Underwriting domains
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, connect data solutions to business outcomes, and guide stakeholders through ambiguity
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives while maintaining attention to detail and a focus on value
- Demonstrated experience designing, managing, and driving the execution of complex staffing and Demand/Capacity models
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
- Adept at identifying themes, synthesizing information, and drawing meaningful insights from conversations and data
