  • Develop end-to-end analytics solutions, including scoping data sources, building pipelines, and designing outputs that align with operational context.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations with data visualizations to summarize findings and provide recommendations to a range of stakeholders.
  • Guide analytics projects through the full lifecycle—from concept to delivery—ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.
  • Support project communications and deliverable management by tracking progress, reporting status, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Identify and analyze risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
  • Lead or support business-critical analyses, including award determinations, duplicate detection, client reporting, and audit compliance.
  • Conduct root cause investigations on data discrepancies, proactively flag issues, and develop standardized processes to reduce manual effort over time.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g., Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, Finance)
  • 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, business operations, or strategy, ideally in a tech or legal environment
  • Strong business intuition and a track record of turning data into action

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
