We are seeking an Analyst to join our Transfer Pricing team, offering the opportunity to develop foundational transfer pricing, economic, and financial skills through hands‑on consulting work, close collaboration with more experienced practitioners, and exposure to real‑world client matters in a supportive and flexible team environment.
This position is hybrid. This position can be located in Boston, Chicago, New York office.
Responsibilities:
Support day‑to‑day execution of transfer pricing engagements, including research and analysis across a range of economic issues
Assist with audit defense and controversy matters, including preparing written responses to taxing authority inquiries, organizing information requests, and performing data analysis
Participate in functional fact‑finding, including supporting interviews with business, operational, R&D, and commercial teams to understand how the business operates
Build and maintain financial and economic models under the guidance of more experienced team members (Excel‑based, advanced tools a plus)
Assist in drafting professional, client‑ready deliverables, helping tie together facts, economics, and tax positions
Work closely with senior team members on client engagements to develop technical and consulting skills
Contribute to AI-enabled process improvements and automation of routine transfer pricing documentation
Contribute to team collaboration and knowledge sharing while learning transfer pricing and financial concepts
What we look for:
Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, an interest in economic and financial analysis, and a willingness to learn and develop in a consulting environment
Ability to understand business operations across a wide range of sectors and industries, and apply economic concepts with guidance from more experienced team members
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively, clearly, and concisely
Interest in developing advisory, consulting, and client‑facing skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling, with an interest in further developing financial and economic modeling skills
Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within project teams in a fast-paced consulting environment
Intellectual curiosity and a strong academic record
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or Management (with a concentration in Economics or Finance) or other degree (with a minimum of four Junior and/or Senior level courses in Economics or Finance) from an accredited university or college
