Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Analyst to join our growing Risk & Insurance team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Risk & Insurance, this role will support a high-volume, fast-paced and sophisticated risk management platform. The Analyst will play a vital role on insurance compliance and risk program implementation efforts, with opportunities to spearhead projects that have cross-functional visibility.

This role includes significant interaction within the company and high visibility with department heads. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises sound judgment, takes ownership of workstreams, and is eager to learn and grow into an increasingly independent and trusted risk resource.

What You’ll Do

The day-to-day experience for an Analyst will vary. One day could be spent performing compliance reviews on Tenants or subcontractors, the next working on data collection and analysis for an insurance submission or working with counsel on securing tender acceptance on a claim. However, some of the consistent key responsibilities include:

  • Insurance compliance review and tracking for tenants, construction vendors, lenders, etc.
  • Interfacing with outside brokers to drive compliance issues to conclusion.
  • Maintenance and/or development of various insurance and risk databases.
  • Assist in developing and implementing internal training and education relating to risk management and insurance.
  • Assist in the development of policy placement and renewal strategies.
  • Act as a supporting internal resource regarding risk and insurance questions for company departments and teams.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of professional work experience, preferably within the insurance, legal, or commercial real estate industries.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and writing skills.
  • A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset: you anticipate issues, move matters forward, and know when to escalate.
  • Sound judgment and discretion, particularly in balancing risk with business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across legal and non-legal teams. Comfort on the phone is important.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Desire to learn and inclination to take ownership of and lead projects.
  • Experienced and comfortable working with data and programs like Microsoft Excel.

The expected salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000 per year. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role is also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program.
