About the Role

The Analyst, Revenue Systems & Automation is a technical owner of PetScreening's go-to-market (GTM) tech stack. You will configure, automate and scale our CRM (HubSpot), connected GTM tools and the data flows between them and our Snowflake data warehouse.

We treat the revenue tech stack as an internal product. Your users are the Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Client Experience teams, and your job is to make their systems fast, reliable and easy to use.

You will join an existing Revenue Systems & Automation analyst as a peer, doubling the team's capacity to deliver systems projects. You will work closely with Revenue Operations, Revenue Strategy and Data Engineering.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. CRM administration and system health. Own day-to-day administration, configuration and data integrity of HubSpot, including objects, properties, pipelines, permissions, users and integrations.
  2. Automation. Design, test and deploy automation that removes manual friction or improves data quality within our GTM systems
  3. Systems architecture and integrations. Maintain and improve how the CRM and GTM tools connect to each other and to Snowflake, keeping the architecture flexible, documented and free of single points of failure.
  4. Project delivery. Scope, build and launch major systems initiatives (for example, new ticketing and onboarding flows, LMS and call-recording integrations, deal setup processes, and company and community records) against firm deadlines.
  5. Requirements gathering. Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Client Experience and Finance to translate business needs into system requirements and scalable solutions.
  6. Data quality and governance. Monitor and enforce data standards, run audits, resolve sync errors, and retire unused lists, segments, properties and other technical debt.
  7. Tool evaluation and administration. Assess, implement and administer GTM tools, and evaluate fit as the business grows.
  8. Cross-functional collaboration. Work with Revenue Operations, Revenue Strategy and Data Engineering so that systems capabilities align with revenue strategy and reporting needs.
Essential Functions
  • Work for prolonged periods on a computer to configure systems, analyze data, test automation and document processes.
  • Communicate professionally by phone, email and video conferencing, including explaining technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Meet individual and team productivity goals and project deadlines while maintaining data accuracy and system quality standards.
  • Collaborate effectively in a remote or hybrid work environment, with availability during standard business hours (Eastern Time) and occasional travel for team events or onsites.
  • Attend team meetings, coaching sessions and training programs, and participate in cross-functional requirements discussions and systems demonstrations.
QualificationsRequired
  • 3 to 6 years of experience administering a CRM and related revenue systems in a B2B environment
  • Hands-on experience building workflows, automation, custom objects and properties, and pipelines in a CRM
  • Experience managing integrations and data syncs between a CRM and other business systems
  • Strong data skills, including working with large datasets, troubleshooting data issues, and building reports and dashboards
  • Ability to gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders and turn them into documented, scalable solutions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver against firm deadlines
  • Clear written and verbal communication
Preferred
  • Experience with Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse, and working knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with reverse ETL or integration platforms, APIs and webhooks
  • Experience administering GTM tools such as Zendesk, Gong, LMS, and onboarding and implementation platforms
  • Experience in a SaaS company serving multifamily, property management or proptech customers
  • Experience leading a CRM migration or major re-architecture

What Success Looks Like in Year One

  • Capacity added: you own a defined set of systems and automation projects end to end, increasing the volume of work the team delivers.
  • Scalable CRM: key CRM procedures are automated where possible, the data dictionary is current, and technical debt is steadily reduced.
  • High user adoption: GTM teams see the CRM as a tool that speeds up their work, shown by measurable gains in day-to-day HubSpot usage.
  • Clear goals: you will have written OKRs for 2027, set with your manager, that tie your work to revenue team outcomes.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
