About Netskope

Today, there's more data and users outside the enterprise than inside, causing the network perimeter as we know it to dissolve. We realized a new perimeter was needed, one that is built in the cloud and follows and protects data wherever it goes, so we started Netskope to redefine Cloud, Network and Data Security.

Since 2012, we have built the market-leading cloud security company and an award-winning culture powered by hundreds of employees spread across offices in Santa Clara, St. Louis, Bangalore, London, Paris, Melbourne, Taipei, and Tokyo. Our core values are openness, honesty, and transparency, and we purposely developed our open desk layouts and large meeting spaces to support and promote partnerships, collaboration, and teamwork. From catered lunches and office celebrations to employee recognition events and social professional groups such as the Awesome Women of Netskope (AWON), we strive to keep work fun, supportive and interactive.  Visit us at Netskope Careers. About this Role:

The Analyst Relations (AR) Specialist will be responsible for executing and managing the company's outreach programs to key industry analysts and influencers. This role is a vital connection point, translating market intelligence from the analyst community back into the organization and ensuring the company's solutions are accurately represented in major market evaluations and reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Strategic Evaluations: Coordinate, support, and help manage the company’s participation in major analyst assessments (e.g., Gartner Magic Quadrants, Forrester Waves, IDC MarketScapes), ensuring alignment of RFI submissions and preparation of supporting demos and materials
  • Coordinate Analyst Engagement: Plan, schedule, and manage the logistics of analyst briefings, inquiries, and demos with executives and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Develop Messaging: Work closely with AR, Product Solutions Marketing, and Product Management to develop content that conveys corporate vision, product roadmaps, and competitive differentiation.
  • Advanced Intelligence Synthesis: Utilize GenAI and machine learning tools to rapidly synthesize large volumes of analyst research and competitive data. Transform raw insights into actionable, executive-ready recommendations for Product and GTM teams.
  • Efficiency Automation: Leverage approved AI capabilities to automate AR tasks, such as drafting initial content, analyzing internal data sets, and generating recurring AR reports to significantly boost productivity for quarterly reporting.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in Analyst Relations, Product Marketing, Competitive Intelligence, or a related function.
  • Industry Knowledge: 3+ years of knowledge of the tech industry, including major trends and the role of key firms like Gartner, Forrester, and IDC.
  • Outstanding Organization & Project Management: Exceptional time management, detail orientation, and organizational skills. Proven ability to proactively manage multiple concurrent workstreams, deliver complex submissions (RFIs), and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • AI Tool Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to utilize and apply AI/ML tools to AR workflows for synthesizing research, analyzing data, and improving speed and accuracy.
  • Communication & Storytelling: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop key briefing materials and narratives.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex market data and provide actionable, strategic advice to internal leadership.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
