Job SummaryIron Mountain is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst, IMDC Capital to join our Data Center Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and well-controlled financial management of global data center capital expenditures. You will act as a key partner to Project Managers and Accounting teams to strengthen capital governance and enable scalable financial processes across our global portfolio.
Team Description: You will join a collaborative, cross-functional team that bridges the gap between high-level financial planning and real-world construction operations.
What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
Responsibility 1: Manage the end-to-end capital lifecycle, including supporting the monthly close process, performing Construction-In-Progress (CIP) reconciliations, and ensuring manual accounting entries for interest and labor are accurately recorded.
Responsibility 2: Collaborate with Project Managers, Fixed Asset Centers of Excellence, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams to validate capital spend against forecasts and support management reporting.
Responsibility 3: Ensure compliance with organizational standards and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations by maintaining rigorous capital finance documentation and supporting internal audit activities.
The ideal candidate will have:
2–5 years of experience in finance, specifically within real estate construction, capital deployment, or a large-scale multinational public reporting environment.
Strong knowledge of United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP), the Construction-In-Progress (CIP) lifecycle, and fixed asset subledgers.
Proven ability in driving process improvements and automation between Project Portfolio Management (PPM) systems and the General Ledger, while managing tight deadlines.
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
