As an Analyst II on the Responsible Gaming Analytics team, you'll help shape and strengthen our industry-leading Responsible Gaming program. In this role, reporting to the Senior Manager of AML and Responsible Gaming Analytics, you'll use data to drive innovation by building models, dashboards, and pipelines that enhance how we support and empower our players. You'll analyze play patterns, synthesize and deliver timely insights, and design initiatives that ensure program health and compliance. Partnering across Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations, you'll help provide players with the best responsible gaming tools, resources, and experiences in the industry.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 76,800.00 USD - 96,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. What you'll do as an Analyst II, Responsible Gaming Analytics
- Conduct analyses to support Program Stakeholders by unlocking quantitative insights and intelligence to inform program direction, investment, goal-setting, and strategy.
- Design, build, and maintain analytical frameworks to monitor program health and effectiveness, and identify areas of opportunity.
- Develop data products (dashboards, reports, alerting logic, etc) that support day-to-day operations, internal escalations, and regulatory reporting.
- Contribute to ongoing development of alerting systems and machine learning models by designing and analyzing training datasets, evaluating model outcomes, and partnering with adjacent teams on deployment.
- Conduct deep dives and ad hoc investigations into player behavior to support critical, time-sensitive decision-making.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory developments to ensure DraftKings maintains a leading-edge, responsible approach to customer care and risk management.
- Build and maintain standardized, reusable, and automated processes to minimize manual and/or recurring work.
- Perform ad hoc analyses on critical events to support compliance and operations activities.
What you'll bring
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or another relevant discipline.
- At least 2+ years of experience executing analytical project work.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, with hands-on experience using Snowflake or similar data warehousing platforms with an eagerness to learn quickly.
- Strong enthusiasm for the adoption and implementation of contemporary artificial intelligence tooling to boost team productivity, improve code quality, and standardize workflows.
- Clear, concise communication to translate data insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A passion and commitment to code hygiene, documentation, and reproducibility to ensure reliable and maintainable data solutions.
