Analyst, Global Insurance Group - SLC Management

What is it for you:

The Analyst, Global Insurance Group, will serve a critical role supporting the SLC Global Insurance Group, which focuses on new business development and relationship management.  The candidate should be well organized, proactive, analytical, possess strong written and verbal communication skills as well as demonstrate a proven ability to multitask.  Investment knowledge across private credit, real estate credit & equity, infrastructure, and public fixed income is a plus.   

  • What you will do:
    Support the sales process through the entire cycle from target market analysis and sales plan development to meeting preparation, follow ups and tracking key metrics
  • Explore ways to leverage sales and insurance industry data as effectively and efficiently as possible
  • Assist with the maintenance of sales pipeline, wins tracker and territory segmentation reports to be reviewed at weekly sales meetings
  • Oversee the client and prospect meeting process, including research and preparation of materials
  • Participate in the creation and review of RFP documents prior to submission
  • Support the team with reporting and communication-oriented tasks like budget monitoring and producing reports for the SLC sales and management teams
  • Work closely with the Insurance Client Solutions Team to develop bespoke client solutions, multi-asset strategies and thought leadership content.
  • Assist with planning and execution of client materials and events
  • Stay up to date on industry developments across asset management and insurance
  • As the Analyst gains knowledge and experience, she/he may become more involved with communicating directly with prospects and consultants

What you will need to succeed:

  • 0-3 years of relevant experience ideally within institutional asset management or consulting to include internships or co-ops;
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team oriented atmosphere;
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex projects within deadlines
  • Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with the ability to explain complex ideas in a simple way;
  • Strong research skills with the ability to concisely synthesize information
  • High-energy, results-oriented self-starter with a commitment to quality and meeting deadlines
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter;
  • A winning attitude and highly charged, positive disposition;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Power Point, Word and Excel
  • Progress toward CFA designation a plus;
  • FINRA Series 7 & 63 or willingness to pass the exams upon hire;

For US applicants the base salary range is: $66k - $116k USD Annual
