Analyze data from multiple channels and databases, develop reporting and interpretation tools, identify process improvements, and advise stakeholders on complex analytical initiatives. Perform descriptive and diagnostic analyses, translate business needs into data solutions, coordinate implementation, and provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
If you’re passionate about data, analytics and problem-solving, this position allows you to play a key role in the development of property and casualty insurance ratemaking. You contribute to strategic projects that directly impact profitability, growth and the client experience. Working with the ratemaking, business intelligence and data governance teams, you use your expertise to turn data into insights that support decision-making. In this role, you work on complex assignments related to ratemaking and improving our data management processes. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Prepare, integrate, validate and analyze data from multiple sources to support ratemaking and modelling projects
- Develop, automate and optimize data preparation processes for recurring activities, budgeting and strategic analyses
- Help implement innovative data solutions, particularly in modern data environments and ratemaking transformation initiatives
- Design and maintain queries, scripts and data flows to improve the efficiency and quality of analyses
- Support data governance by applying data quality, documentation and security standards
- Create and maintain data documentation, variable dictionaries and data preparation processes
- Monitor data quality, identify anomalies and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with actuaries, analysts, BI teams and other partners to meet business needs and improve decision-making
- Identify opportunities to improve data-related processes and implement sustainable, scalable solutions
- Act as a go-to person for data-related questions and share best practices in data valorization and use.

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, business intelligence or a related field
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience in data analysis and preparation
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Experience handling large volumes of data and automating processes
- Knowledge of French is required
- Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Proficiency in SQL
- Knowledge of SAS, Python or R
- Knowledge of data quality, governance and architecture concepts
- Knowledge of property and casualty insurance
