What will you be doing?
Circana is evolving the Commercial Finance function and seeking a driven Financial Analyst to support our Commercial Finance Organization. Commercial Finance is responsible for streamlining processes, leveraging new systems, and adding more value for the Commercial partners who drive the business. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting Circana’s Commercial Finance function and driving improved business results. This role will help aggregate, standardize, and maintain financial reporting across multiple Circana businesses through targeted process automation and practical application of next-generation analytical tools, supporting the strategic shift from historical reporting to forward-looking analytics.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain standardized global reporting packages, deploying process automation to reduce manual data consolidation and report assembly; ensure accuracy through validation checks and clear documentation
- Serve as a primary pilot user for new efficiency tools, identifying opportunities to apply AI and automation to repetitive analysis and foundational reporting (with appropriate controls and review)
- Develop improved tools and reporting across the Commercial Finance Organization to support budgeting and forecasting, enabling the broader team to improve forecast accuracy, highlight business trends, and identify risks and opportunities
- Maximize the use of Circana’s financial systems (Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Adaptive, NetSuite) to support revenue pipeline review and forecasting, recurring revenue analysis, and booking accuracy
- Provide ad hoc analysis, reporting, and support for special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related business majors
- Demonstrated ability to automate repeatable reporting tasks using tools such as Power Query, Power BI, or other workflow automation solutions
- Comfort leveraging modern productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot/AI assistants) to streamline analysis, documentation, and reporting workflows, with strong judgment and attention to data accuracy
- Advanced proficiency in Excel required
- Workday Adaptive software experience a plus for budgeting and forecasting
- Experience extracting, manipulating, and delivering insights from large datasets
- Ability to manage ambiguity, proactively ideating solutions to key business problems
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and drive the adoption of new reporting initiatives
- Self-starter with intellectual curiosity, strict attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Location
This position can be located in the following area(s): strong preference for the Greater Chicago area. This position is 100% remote so must be willing to work Central Standard Time zone hours.
The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 USD. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
