About AlphaPrism AI

In the world of investment research, we saw a fundamental problem hiding in plain sight. While financial professionals drown in the same data as their competitors, the most valuable insights emerge from and become locked in the collective wisdom of industry experts and everyday observers. At AlphaPrism, we're not making incremental improvements, we're fundamentally reimagining investment intelligence through a radical idea: AI that starts with cutting-edge desktop research, finds and grades expert sources, generates proprietary data through expert conversations, and synthesizes everything into research with unprecedented trustworthiness. Our system extracts insights directly from domain experts across all sectors, tapping into the collective intelligence that sees market shifts before they appear in traditional data. We bridge AI research, human wisdom, and structured investment intelligence to help you see what others can't and know what others don't.

That's why we say: if you read minds, you lead markets.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Product Manager with deep expertise in capital markets, particularly regarding research within hedge funds and public equities. As an early hire, you will play a critical role in shaping our product strategy and roadmap, working closely with engineering and research teams to build tools that empower investment professionals with GenAI-driven insights. You should have a strong background in capital markets, with hands-on experience in fundamental research workflows, data analysis, and decision-making processes within hedge funds or asset management. Ideally, you’ve built or used institutional-grade platforms for equity research, portfolio construction, or alpha generation, and you’re excited to apply cutting-edge GenAI technologies to solve real-world problems in this space.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap for AlphaPrism’s AI-powered analytics and data intelligence platform.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and design teams to translate research workflows into intuitive, scalable product experiences.
  • Conduct deep discovery with associates, analysts, and portfolio managers to understand their research, modeling, and decision-making processes.
  • Develop product specs and user stories grounded in capital markets workflows, including idea generation, company analysis, and portfolio monitoring.
  • Work closely with data and ML teams to integrate fundamental, alternative, and unstructured data sources into the product.
  • Ensure product compliance with US and industry standards and regulations, including audit trails, data governance, and information security.
  • Monitor product performance and usage, driving continuous improvements through user feedback, analytics, and proactive iteration.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in GenAI, investment research, and financial technology, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2+ years focused on financial technology, investment research, and/or capital markets platforms.
  • Deep domain expertise in public equities and hedge funds, including familiarity with buy-side workflows such as fundamental research, portfolio construction, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with GenAI, LLMs, or ML-based systems, and their application to financial workflows (e.g., document summarization, search, entity extraction).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially working cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomy-biased startup environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience utilizing SQL, Python, or other tools to explore data, validate ideas, and collaborate closely with technical teams
  • Understanding of security best practices in ML and cloud-based systems.
  • Prior experience in a startup or fast-moving tech environment.

Why Join AlphaPrism AI?

  • Be part of a fast-growing startup shaping the next generation of AI-power data intelligence platform.
  • Work on cutting-edge ML/GenAI solutions with a world-class team.
  • Competitive compensation, equity options, and remote-first culture.
