Boomi is on a mission to become radically more efficient with AI. To help lead this effort, we are seeking an AI Transformation Manager to establish and lead the program governance structure for all AI transformation efforts run out of our AI COE (Center of Excellence). This role acts to ensure that AI initiatives, including agentic transformation programs, are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business goals.
This individual contributor role will coordinate across business units, track cross-functional dependencies, manage risks and escalations, and provide executive-level visibility into initiative health, resourcing, and ROI realization. This is an incredible opportunity to improve an organization's processes and workflows and get firsthand experience leveraging AI to drive positive business outcomes.
What You'll Do:
Program Governance & Oversight
- Establish program-level planning, governance, and operating cadences (e.g. QBRs, initiative reviews, milestone gates)
- Build and maintain dashboards that track AI program health across initiative portfolio (agentic and beyond).
- Define program frameworks for intake, prioritization, resourcing, and de-risking.
- Conduct requirements gathering with Security, IT, Engineering, Product, Legal, Finance and HR to ensure AI is integrated responsibly
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Run daily/weekly/biweekly cross-team meetings to ensure executional alignment, surface blockers, and enforce timelines
Executive Reporting
- Own the development of reporting artifacts for the VP of AI Transformation and executive sponsors (e.g., roadmaps, OKRs, initiative scorecards, risk reports)
Program Infrastructure
- Implement and maintain project management tools and platforms
- Define templates and guidance for business case development, status updates, and post-mortems
- Stay up to date on industry momentum in the AI space
The Experience You Bring:
- 5+ years of total experience
- 2–3+ years in program or project management, ideally in enterprise program management, project leadership, or digital transformation governance roles
- Experience working on complex cross-functional programs (preferably in AI, automation, or digital modernization)
- Familiarity with program management frameworks (Agile, hybrid, waterfall) and tools
- Proven ability to work across technical and non-technical teams and escalate strategically
- Executive-level communication and reporting skills
- Demonstrated success managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to take direction or self-drive as the situation demands
- Willingness to learn and acquire technical expertise in the AI space
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time
- Willingness to flex responsibilities as necessary
- Demonstrated experience thriving in ambiguous environments

- Executive satisfaction with transparency and reporting
- Reduced risk exposure across initiatives (security, legal, adoption)
- Process maturity of the AI structure (cadence, tooling, engagement)

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The base compensation for this position in Denver, Colorado ranges between $121,000- $160,000 USD annually + applicable bonus. This position is remote-friendly and, as such, final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience. The base compensation for this position in Vancouver, B.C. ranges between 113,000 - 150,000 CAD annually + applicable bonus. Final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
