Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week
Role Overview:
The AI & Technology Enablement Specialist plays a key role in helping Nautilus and Navigator Agents make the most of Salesforce Service Cloud, Seismic, and AI-driven tools. This individual will focus on hands-on enablement - exploring technology, identifying practical use cases, and helping agents apply these tools to work more efficiently and engage clients more effectively.
As part of the Nautilus technology team, this role partners closely with Planning and Practice Solutions (PPS) leadership and engages directly with agents to turn technology into everyday business value. The ideal candidate is curious, hands-on, and skilled at connecting the dots between technology, agent workflows, and client outcomes.
What You'll Do:
  • Drive adoption of AI and technology capabilities within Salesforce, Seismic, and other tools by highlighting real-world applications - such as prompting, automation, and content personalization - that enhance efficiency for Nautilus staff, Nautilus agents, and Navigator agents.
  • Perform light development and configuration in Salesforce and Seismic, supporting enhancements to workflows, content automation, and user experience aligned with agent and business needs.
  • Create simple, effective enablement materials using Scribe (guides, short demos, quick tips) to help agents apply tools confidently.
  • Partner with PPS leadership to identify opportunities to enhance the agent experience through technology, while gathering and relaying feedback from Nautilus and Navigator agents to inform and improve adoption efforts.
  • Create and use adoption metrics within Seismic to monitor engagement, identify friction points, and drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring:
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud (case management, workflows, integrations).
  • Working knowledge of Seismic or other content enablement tools.
  • Practical understanding of AI tools and how they can enhance productivity and personalization.
  • Strong communication and relationship skills - able to explain technology clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • A naturally curious and self-directed mindset - someone who enjoys exploring, learning, and applying new tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with tech teams, PPS leadership, and agents in a dynamic environment.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's in Business, Finance, or Technology
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud (case management, workflows, integrations).
  • Working knowledge of Seismic or similar content enablement platforms.
  • Understanding of AI tools and features that improve productivity, personalization, and client engagement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort learning new technologies quickly.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in financial services, insurance, or agent-led sales environments.
  • Background in digital enablement, business analysis, or technology adoption.
  • Familiarity with change management principles or leading small-scale adoption initiatives.
  • Basic understanding of data and analytics for measuring engagement and adoption success.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
