Who We Are:

We deploy powerful AI agents in complex, regulated industries, specializing in building the systems that enable autonomous agents to operate entire functions securely and reliably. Our belief is that people should be free of administrative and operational drudgery so they can create value through creativity, reasoning, and judgement.

We’re starting in higher education, a sector with ~$700B in expenses defined by heavy workflows across departments, such as admissions, financial aid, facilities, advising, student services, advancement, and more. Our agents are already embedded across these departments, interacting with millions of students and staff. They process applications, package aid, resolve verification issues, run large-scale communication workflows, handle student support tickets, and more.

We believe that universities are among the most consequential institutions in the world, sitting at the foundation of social and economic progress. Improving how they operate improves who gets educated, who gets supported, and who gets a chance. When higher education runs better, everything built on top of it does too.

About the Role:

As an AI Strategy Lead at CollegeVine, you’ll partner directly with our university partners to solve their biggest challenges using data, AI, and web technologies. You will proactively assess partner performance, stepping in to have strategic and technical discussions with key stakeholders with an eye towards maximizing value. You will work cross-functionally at CollegeVine to drive AI adoption, engagement, and growth among universities by identifying, quantifying, and working toward specific partner goals.

This role is ideal for someone who can adapt quickly to product changes and limitations, problem-solving in real-time for partners. We are looking for someone who likes to be on the frontlines with customers, as a member of the Success team, but with a real desire to drive strategic transformations.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with universities to solve evolving challenges

    • Engage directly with stakeholders to address shifting strategic goals.

    • Provide data- and AI-driven strategy that maximize long-term value.

  • Act as a trusted advisor and product expert

    • Build strong relationships with executives and operational leaders.

    • Develop deep product expertise to guide partners toward the right solutions.

  • Proactively monitor performance

    • Track partner outcomes against agreed goals and surface risks early.

    • Intervene with tailored strategies to ensure adoption and growth.

  • Configure and optimize AI agents

    • Reconfigure partner AI agents as goals and processes evolve.

    • Ensure agents are aligned with partner objectives and best practices.

  • Translate partner needs into scalable solutions

    • Collaborate with engineering to turn challenges into improvements.

    • Identify underutilization and re-engage partners with creative solutions

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience & Expertise

    • 3-6 years of professional experience in product management, consulting, or related fields

    • Demonstrated ability to independently drive complex projects directly with stakeholders

    • Track record of contributing to products or solutions that reached real users/customers

  • Technical Capability

    • Comfort applying new technologies (such as emerging AI/ML tools) to solve practical problems

    • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and applications

  • Problem-Solving Mindset

    • Deeply analytical, with a knack for breaking down ambiguous challenges into concrete solutions

    • Eagerness to learn new tools, frameworks, and research

  • Collaboration and communication

    • Excellent interpersonal skills: able to bridge technical and non-technical audiences

    • Humble, pragmatic, and coachable - valuing feedback and always seeking to raise the bar

    • Desire to share learnings with the broader organization with an eye toward detail

  • Entrepreneurial Drive

    • Aspires to grow within CollegeVine to a Forward Deployed Engineer or product-centric role

    • Comfortable stepping into unchartered territory

CollegeVine partners with 200+ universities, deploying agentic AI to power campus operations. We have raised venture funding from dedicated investors such as Menlo Ventures (Anthropic, Carta), Silversmith Capital Partners (Webflow, Formstack), Morningside Technology Ventures (Xiaomi, TikTok), and more. In 2020, after years of being a remote-friendly company, CollegeVine became a fully remote company (with a NYC office) with a diverse cast of team members based predominantly in the United States, but also around the world.
