Internship Overview
We are looking for interns to join us for our 2026 Summer Internship Program! Position Overview
Actian is looking for a highly motivated AI Solutions Intern to help transform how modern marketing teams operate through AI.
This is not a traditional marketing internship. This role sits at the intersection of AI, automation, and go-to-market execution, focused on building intelligent systems that improve how marketing work gets done.
If you have a builder mindset – create and ship, are curious about how AI can transform real-world workflows, and love to move fast, experiment, and iterate, paired with strong communication skills and the ability to connect technical work to business value, this is a great opportunity for you.
You will design and develop AI agents, workflows, and automation tools that enable faster content creation, smarter campaign execution, improved analytics, and more efficient marketing operations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will build real solutions used by a global marketing team.
Responsibilities:
- Developing an understanding of select marketing processes and workflows to design and develop AI agents and automation
- Orchestrating multi-step, multi-agent systems to automate complex processes
- Experimenting with LLMs, APIs, and agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain or similar)
- Developing reusable workflows and automation playbooks
- Rapidly prototyping and iterating on AI solutions
- Documenting workflows, tools, and best practices for broader team adoption
- Measuring and improving the effectiveness of AI-driven solutions
- A Marketing Co-Pilot Agent that helps teams generate and refine campaigns
- An AI Content Studio for drafting and optimizing multi-channel content
- A Campaign Automation Engine that orchestrates execution workflows
- A Competitive Intelligence Bot that tracks and summarizes market activity
- Automating Field Event workflows and event execution
- An SEO/AEO Optimization Agent that improves search and answer engine visibility
You will act as a builder of AI-powered marketing solutions, and your capstone will reflect a body of work that involves collaboration with marketing, sales and product teams to identify high-impact opportunities, and then design, build and deploy AI-powered tools for marketing use cases. - Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- Strong programming skills (Python preferred)
- Familiarity with APIs and working with data
- Interest in AI/ML, automation, or intelligent systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly
- Experience with LLMs or AI frameworks preferred (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI APIs)
- Experience building projects preferred (GitHub, hackathons, coursework)
- Interest in marketing, business, or go-to-market functions
Requirements:
- Must be actively enrolled in a college degree program
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
