About the Opportunity

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Director, this position will work across both our InnovateUS and AI for Impact, programs collaborating closely with product, learning, and external partners. Success in this role would mean building strong and sustained engagement with legal audiences, launching a successful flagship Public AI course, creating scalable executive education programs for governments, developing learning tools that are widely used in practice, and expanding the reach of our Community AI work.

Key Responsibilities:

Help design and deliver live learning programs for lawyers and senior policymakers, expanding our AI course offerings in this space, and developing content on AI governance, regulation, and the use of AI in public institutions.

Build partnerships with public sector legal stakeholders—such as Attorneys General, public defenders, and governors’ offices—and help shape a longer-term pipeline connecting legal education to applied AI work, potentially including a clinic model with Northeastern.

Serve as the lead on working with the Director to develop a new flagship course on how governments buy, build, and govern AI, in collaboration with Barcelona Supercomputing Center and Princeton.

Coordinate curriculum design, faculty engagement, and delivery of a course focused on procurement and vendor strategy, institutional use of AI, and governance and oversight,

Assist in designing and delivering executive-level programs for senior government leaders.

Help in the supporting of the development of teaching materials and running the program and writing case studies, and then building a model that can be scaled and repeated across multiple states.

Work with faculty on supporting course development for InnovateUS.

Work closely with the Director on broader AI policy and governance efforts, including research, memo-writing, participation in high-level discussions, and contributing to our Reboot platform.

Expected Hiring Range:

$53,615.00 - $75,728.75

With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
