AI Operations Lead

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled AI Operations Lead to drive end-to-end AI operational excellence, cost optimization, and automation at scale. This role is ideal for an execution-focused leader who can operationalize AI initiatives, streamline business processes using AI-driven methodologies, and ensure AI/ML projects achieve efficiency, scalability, and business impact. This position will lead embedded AI teams in organizations, establish AI governance, build custom solutions, and empower user adoption and effectiveness.

What You’ll DoAI & Generative AI Integration

• Implement and optimize AI and Generative AI (GenAI) technologies to drive productivity, efficiency, and business innovation.
• Lead AI-driven automation efforts, including document processing, workflow automation, and intelligent decision-making systems.
• Work closely with AI engineers, data scientists, and product teams to ensure seamless deployment and optimization of AI/ML solutions within business operations.
• Ensure AI-driven processes enhance decision-making, reduce inefficiencies, and maximize impact.

Operations and Cost Optimization

• Identify cost-saving opportunities, leveraging AI automation, predictive analytics, and real-time monitoring to enhance operational efficiency.
• Build and refine AI-powered dashboards, performance tracking systems, and automation frameworks that improve AI project execution.
• Develop AI models that enhance supply chain, resource allocation, and financial planning efficiency.

Process & Document Automation

• Deploy and manage AI-powered automation technologies, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI-driven process automation (APA), to improve operational productivity.
• Automate documentation workflows using AI-powered Optical Character Recognition (OCR), digital documentation systems, and document management software.
• Oversee AI solutions that reduce manual workload, increase accuracy, and accelerate time-to-value for complex operational processes.
• Implement best practices for AI-driven data management, workflow automation, and process re-engineering.

Operational Excellence & Data-Driven Leadership

• Promote a culture of AI-powered innovation and operational excellence by integrating cutting-edge AI technologies and best practices.
• Utilize AI/GenAI and data analytics tools, including predictive modeling, business intelligence, and advanced analytics, to drive strategic decision-making.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration between AI engineers, business leaders, and operations teams to ensure AI technologies align with key business objectives.
• Design AI governance frameworks, ensuring ethical, efficient, and scalable AI deployment.

Consulting & Startup Experience

• Apply startup-style agility to build, test, and iterate AI-driven operational solutions.
• Leverage experience in consulting or high-growth startups to navigate ambiguity and drive AI innovation in a fast-paced environment.
• Establish scalable AI processes that support business growth, customer success, and operational efficiency.

Customer-Centric Approach

• Work closely with customers and stakeholders to ensure AI solutions meet business needs, enhance customer experiences, and drive measurable value.
• Foster a customer-obsessed mindset, ensuring AI deployments align with user needs and long-term strategic goals.
• Translate complex AI capabilities into practical, high-impact solutions that deliver real-world results.

Who You Are

• Deep expertise in AI, Generative AI, and AI-driven automation, with experience optimizing business operations through AI technologies.
• Background in AI/ML engineering, AI strategy, or AI operations leadership, with a strong understanding of AI/ML product lifecycles.
• Proven experience in process optimization, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
• Hands-on experience deploying RPA, AI-powered OCR, and process automation tools to streamline business functions.
• Strong data-driven leadership skills, using AI and predictive analytics to enhance business performance.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, iterating in startup environments, and executing in fast-paced, high-growth settings.
• Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between technical AI development and business execution, ensuring AI-driven solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business strategy.
