The Strategic Account Manager forges strategic B2B partnerships to drive revenue growth, expand company business opportunities, and enhance Marketplace presence. The Strategic Account Manager must efficiently engage prospects, conduct meaningful exploratory conversations, manage a robust pipeline, utilize data to architect commercial terms, and drive opportunities to close. The ideal candidate must be AI-native, demonstrate deep knowledge of performance marketing, and possess a passion for operational excellence.
What you'll do:
Market and Competitive Analysis
- Conduct industry research and competitive analyses to inform new category development and partnership strategies
- Analyze analytics data to drive decision-making and market positioning
- Generate regular reports and insightful presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and support leadership decision-making
Business Development
- Identify high-value partnerships and prospect for the key decision-makers needed to achieve category growth and revenue targets
- Work in tandem with a Business Development Representative to efficiently manage sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting
- Meet or exceed established individual and team sales quotas
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with Data & Analytics, Marketing, and Marketplace teams to ensure alignment on initiatives, KPIs, and OKRs
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the team
Requirements
What you'll have:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in SaaS Business Development, Partnerships, Performance Marketing, or a related field
- Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to execute effective business development strategies
- Demonstrates the ability to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and analytics data to drive decision-making and performance improvement
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships both internal and external to the organization
- AI Native mindset — comfortable leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to drive efficiency, insights, and innovation across business development and marketing strategies
- Technical Skills including:
- Analytics: Tableau, Looker, Domo, Qlik
- Business Intelligence: ZoomInfo, Apollo, Sales Navigator, Seamless, Lusha, Clearbit
- CRM: Salesforce, Hubspot, SAP
- Analyst-level proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets
