Build and ship end-to-end web features across UI, APIs, databases, tests, and deployment by directing AI coding agents. Translate requirements into agent-ready specifications, manage parallel agent sessions, review generated code, enforce security and quality, and require effective automated tests. Deploy and monitor applications on Azure, debug production issues, improve agent context and tooling, and document releases and operational procedures.
This is a remote position.
Location: Remote across India; may transition to onsite in the future
Experience: 2+ years building web applications end to end, with 6+ months shipping production features mainly through AI coding agents
The role. You ship complete features across the CloudLabs core and modules (UI, API, database, tests, deployment) by directing AI coding agents. You turn a product requirement into an agent-ready spec, run the agents, verify what they produce, and own it in production. You don't write implementation code by hand; you are accountable for every line the agents write.
What you'll do
- Break product requirements into small, agent-ready specs with clear acceptance criteria and test cases.
- Drive AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot agents) to implement features across (one or more tech stack, not all):
- .NET / ASP.NET Core APIs and SQL Server stored procedures in the core; OR
- Next.js/React front ends, TypeScript APIs and Python services in modules.
- Run several agent sessions in parallel on separate branches or worktrees, and keep them from stepping on each other.
- Review every agent diff before it merges: correctness, edge cases, security (auth checks, tenant isolation, input validation, secrets), performance and readability. Send it back with precise feedback until it is right.
- Make agents prove their work: unit, integration and end-to-end tests (Playwright) that actually fail when the feature is broken.
- Improve the agents' context as you go: update AGENTS.md, skills and templates when an agent repeats a mistake.
- Deploy through CI/CD to QA and production on Azure; watch logs and metrics after release; debug and fix production issues, again by directing agents.
- Write short, clear PR descriptions, release notes and runbooks.
Requirements
Must have
- Solid full-stack fundamentals: HTTP, REST, relational data modelling and SQL, authentication, browser security, async programming, testing.
- Working knowledge of one or both of our tech stacks, enough to read and judge code fluently:
- C# / ASP.NET Core and Angular (TypeScript, RxJS);
- React / Next.js and Node or Python back ends.
- Hands-on, daily experience with at least one agentic coding tool in a real codebase.
- Code review judgement: you can explain why an agent's plausible-looking change is wrong.
- Git, pull requests, CI pipelines (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps) and debugging with logs.
- Comfortable working from written specs and writing them for others (human or agent).
Nice to have
- Azure experience: App Service, Container Apps, Key Vault, Front Door, Azure AD B2C/Entra.
- PostgreSQL and row-level security; Drizzle or Entity Framework.
- Built with LLM APIs (Azure OpenAI, Anthropic): tool calling, RAG, evaluations.
- Wrote MCP servers, Claude Code skills/hooks/subagents, or similar agent tooling.
- Infrastructure as code (Bicep, Terraform).
- Interest in cloud labs, e-learning or developer education.
