About Us

Deccan AI is a model training and eval startup headquartered in the Bay Area. We are founded by IIT Bombay, IIM Ahmedabad and ex-Google alumni, and work with some of the top AI frontier labs in the world, e.g. Google Deepmind, Snowflake, and many more. We are backed by Prosus Ventures, and our India delivery office is in Hyderabad. Most of our roles are on-site i.e. Bay Area / Hyderabad.

About the Role

We’re looking for an AI Marketer / DevRel who can bridge the gap between product, community, and storytelling.
You’ll be the voice of our brand within the AI and developer ecosystem — crafting narratives, demos, and community programs that inspire builders and showcase what’s possible with our technology.

This role blends growth marketing, content strategy, and developer advocacy, and is ideal for someone who can write code and tell a story.

What You’ll Do
  • Build awareness and adoption through technical content, tutorials, and campaigns.

  • Represent the brand across social, community, and event platforms (Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Discord, GitHub, conferences).

  • Create AI product demos, case studies, and experiments that showcase real-world use cases.

  • Partner with engineering and product teams to translate new releases into engaging developer stories.

  • Foster and grow our developer and AI research community through online and offline initiatives.

  • Experiment with data-led marketing, A/B testing, and content performance analytics.

  • Stay on top of AI trends and use them to shape thought-leadership content and brand positioning.

What You’ll Bring
  • 2–6 years of experience in developer relations, technical marketing, or growth content.

  • Ability to communicate complex AI or ML concepts with clarity and creativity.

  • Hands-on familiarity with AI tools, APIs, and model workflows (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.).

  • Strong storytelling, content creation, and public speaking skills.

  • Experience building audience or community engagement in the developer ecosystem.

  • Bonus: ability to code in Python/JS and build quick technical demos or integrations.
