At Replicant, we believe AI should work for people, starting with customer service. That's why we built a platform that helps contact centers resolve more requests, proactively identify issues, and improve agent performance with AI-powered conversation intelligence and AI agents that act like your best reps.

Our AI agents handle millions of calls every month for Fortune 500 companies and high-growth innovators. From processing payments to booking appointments and authenticating users, they help customers get what they need instantly, 24/7. Meanwhile, our real-time conversation insights help contact center leaders coach better and improve every interaction.

We're leading the shift from legacy systems to AI-first service, powered by large language models (LLMs) and designed for enterprise scale, security, and empathy. If you're excited by the potential of LLMs, voice AI, and building category-defining technology with a kind, ambitious team, you'll love it here.

We're hiring an AI Enablement Engineer to lead and optimize AI solutions inside Replicant. As the first dedicated hire in this role, you won't inherit a program; you'll build one. The work is equal parts consulting and construction. You'll sit with Sales, Delivery, R&D, and G&A teams to understand how their work actually gets done. Then you'll build the foundations underneath it: the integrations and MCP surfaces that connect a function to its own systems, agent identity management, and infrastructure.

What you'll do

  • Build the paved road - Claude Enterprise and Replicant's AI Operating System are already live, but there's still no single answer to where a thing should live, who can see it, and what it costs. You will make the safe path the fast path.

  • Turn wins into reusable patterns - Today a good workflow helps one person, sometimes a team, but typically stops there. You will enable teams to build the shared skills, templates, and agent specs the next team can pick up without you. Every new Replicant will start with a working baseline instead of assembling one after several months.

  • Build the bench - One person cannot enable the whole company. You will partner with the People team on AI literacy, run office hours, and develop champions inside each function.

  • Work with every function - Sales, Delivery, Finance, and People. You will build the first solution next to the person who owns it, so they build the second one without you. You will work with Engineering to develop custom solutions that bridge technology gaps.

  • Own the foundation - There is work no function can do for itself. You will own the MCP integrations, shared agents, agent identity management, and the connections into commercial tools.

  • Own continuous cost visibility - You will build the visibility Finance needs, consolidate redundant tools, surface shadow AI, and cut cost through mechanisms such as prompt caching, model routing, and better agent design.

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years hands-on experience as Systems Engineer, Solutions Engineer, IT Engineer, or similar, at a SaaS or cloud-native company.

  • Agents internal customers kept using - You've deployed and optimized AI tools at company scale, and you got there by working like a consultant: diagnose the real problem, scope and sequence the work, set expectations before writing any code.

  • Enough technical range to build the hard parts such as scripting and integration work in Python, TypeScript, or shell, SDLC fundamentals, MCP, agent frameworks, secure authentication, retrieval, and API integration across enterprise SaaS. We care more that you pick up a new one quickly than that you've used ours.

  • The ability to talk to anyone - You can turn "I wish this took less time" into a working agent for a recruiter or a sales executive, explain it well enough that they trust it, and then defend your sequencing to the leadership team.

  • A multiplier's temperament - You'd rather build the easy, safe path and hand it over than become the bottleneck every request routes through. You have patience for the fourth walkthrough, the skeptic, and the workflow that turns out to be three workflows.

For all full-time employees, we offer:

🌴 In-person connection that counts: company-wide offsites and smaller team gatherings designed to make remote work feel personal

🖥️ Tech & learning stipend: Conferences, books, courses — interested? We’ll fund them

📍 Remote by design: We’re distributed — no guilt about life events, we trust you to manage your calendar

🏋️ Health & wellness: Flexible vacations, paid sabbatical after 5 years, comprehensive benefits, plus a stipend to support your physical and mental well-being

💸 Compensation that matches your impact: competitive salaries in the company you’re helping to build

📈 Equity with upside: We believe in shared ownership—You’ll own a real piece of a fast-growing AI company

Our Values

Replicant has three core values. It is critical that everyone who joins the team feels excited and moved by these values as every new team member makes an impact on our culture.

Blade Runners: We take ownership and pride to influence the outcomes of our goals. We are successful, and like a Blade Runner, use the tools at our disposal to reach our objectives. We value open and honest communication and proactively seek feedback along the way. We are a company driven to grow and achieve both individually and as a team.

Bread Makers: We are humble and strive toward an egalitarian culture. No task is too big or too small. We work together to achieve our goals and develop our company mission. We believe that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts in everything that we do.

Självdistans (Self-Distance): Självdistans is Swedish for self-distance. It's the ability to critically reflect on oneself and one's relations from an external perspective. With this in mind, we act with objectivity and always remember that we are not our work. There's no perfect science to growing a team or business, but we trust everyone at Replicant to point out our blind spots and humbly admit their own.

Replicant is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to fostering an inclusive, diverse and equitable workplace that is built on trust, support and respect. We welcome all individuals and do not discriminate on the basis of gender identity and expression, race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, colour, religion, creed, gender, national origin, age, marital status, pregnancy, sex, citizenship, education, languages spoken or veteran status. Accommodation is available upon request at any point during our recruitment process. If you require an accommodation, please speak to your talent acquisition partner or email us at [email protected] and we’ll work to meet your needs.

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
