PreVeil is a fast-growing, profitable SaaS company providing best-in-class encrypted email and file sharing for organizations that handle sensitive data. We’ve been named a Best Place to Work three years in a row and recognized by PC Magazine as the best encrypted email and file-sharing platform for five consecutive years.

Beyond security, PreVeil helps defense contractors meet strict U.S. federal cybersecurity compliance requirements—most notably the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), which is required to do business with the Department of Defense. More than 2,500 defense customers rely on PreVeil, and over 60 have successfully achieved certification, placing PreVeil among the most proven platforms in this space.

Accelerator is PreVeil’s compliance enablement platform. It helps customers generate and maintain the documentation required for CMMC compliance—such as System Security Plans (SSPs), control responses, policies, and procedures—within a tightly controlled, well-understood PreVeil environment.

Accelerator is already highly successful and widely used. The next phase is to fundamentally improve how customers experience compliance—making it easier to understand, easier to execute, and easier to succeed.

We are looking for a senior, product-oriented individual to own how customers learn and experience compliance inside Accelerator.

This is not a marketing role. It is not about demand generation, SEO, or brand copy. Success is measured by whether more customers can achieve CMMC compliance with less effort, less confusion, and greater confidence over time.

You will design and continuously improve a learning and guidance experience—deeply integrated into Accelerator’s LMS and curated AI capabilities—that makes compliance understandable, approachable, and achievable for small and mid-sized defense contractors.

Written documentation and instructional videos are core outputs of this role, but they are created as part of a cohesive, AI-woven learning system, not as standalone artifacts.

What You Will Do

Design the Compliance Learning Experience

  • Architect a clear, step-by-step learning journey that guides customers through CMMC readiness and certification
  • Translate complex compliance requirements into prescriptive, SMB-appropriate guidance
  • Reduce cognitive load while maintaining accuracy and audit-readiness

Create High-Quality Documentation and Instructional Videos

  • Write clear, concise customer-facing compliance documentation (including SSP guidance, control explanations, policies, and procedures)
  • Use AI as a core tool to draft, edit, and refine written content
  • Create prescriptive instructional videos using modern, AI-assisted workflows to reinforce understanding
  • Ensure written documentation and videos work together as part of a unified learning system

Shape the Use of Curated AI Inside Accelerator

  • Partner with engineering and compliance teams who build the RAG and AI infrastructure
  • Define how curated AI chat supports learning, clarifies intent, and guides customers at the right moments
  • Ensure AI reinforces canonical content and operates within clear accuracy and safety boundaries

Develop and Apply Compliance Expertise

  • Build deep familiarity with CMMC over time, supported by RP and CCP/CCA credentialing
  • Work within structured internal and external review processes, including C3PAOs
  • Apply growing subject-matter expertise to continuously improve content accuracy and usefulness

Drive Continuous Improvement Based on Outcomes

  • Learn from customer usage, support signals, and certification outcomes
  • Identify recurring points of confusion or friction
  • Iterate documentation, videos, and AI guidance to measurably reduce effort and improve success rates

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • Exceptional ability to explain complex, technical topics with clarity and precision
  • An educator’s mindset focused on true understanding, not just information delivery
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to develop subject-matter expertise
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to create and improve content
  • Comfort creating or directing instructional video content
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with product, engineering, and compliance teams

Preferred

  • Experience in compliance, security, or other regulated domains
  • Instructional design or technical education experience
  • Experience working on or alongside SaaS products
  • Familiarity with LMS or GRC platforms

Why This Role Is Compelling

  • High impact: Thousands of customers already use Accelerator, and adoption is growing rapidly. Your work directly affects real-world compliance outcomes.
  • Rare scope: This role sits at the intersection of product, education, compliance, and AI—an opportunity that did not meaningfully exist before recent advances in AI.
  • Credible foundation: PreVeil already supports one of the largest populations of CMMC-certified customers in the market. You are building on proven expertise, not starting from scratch.
  • Ownership: You will define how Accelerator teaches compliance and shape a core dimension of the product experience.
  • Growth: You will develop deep expertise in compliance, AI-powered learning, and product-adjacent experience design.
  • Rewards: Competitive salary, equity, bonus, and benefits at a profitable, fast-growing SaaS company with an excellent culture.
