Job Purpose
We are seeking an AI Developer to join our Enterprise Data Management team. This role bridges the gap between raw data and business intelligence by leveraging Python, Java, SQL, and visualization tools to deliver insights that inform strategic decisions across the bank. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, coding expertise, and the ability to transform complex datasets into actionable reporting and scalable data solutions.
Requirements
- Perform exploratory data analysis and statistical profiling using Python and Java for backend data processing.
- Develop reusable scripts for data wrangling, anomaly detection, and KPI tracking.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles to build scalable data pipelines and analytical utilities.
- Design and implement interactive dashboards with Tableau, Power BI, or custom web interfaces.
- Use DAX, Power Query, and Salesforce APIs to integrate data sources into unified reporting layers.
- Translate large datasets into intuitive visual narratives for executive-level decision-making.
- Build and maintain ETL workflows with Python, Java, and SQL to extract and prepare data from relational and cloud-based sources.
- Automate data cleansing and transformation routines using Apache POI, VBA, and Power Query.
- Ensure data integrity with validation, schema enforcement, and error handling.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, software development, or business intelligence (financial services experience preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Python for analysis and scripting, and working knowledge of Java for backend integration.
- Advanced SQL skills across relational databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and dashboard development.
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data modeling, and pipeline orchestration.
- Proficiency with Excel, including Power Query and VBA.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DuckDB, Polars, or other high-performance analytical engines.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, or Google BigQuery).
- Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Interest in machine learning, predictive modeling, or statistical inference.
- Prior experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
- High proficiency in technical writing and documentation.
