Here’s what you should know if you want to be a Freelance AI Creative Technology Director at Addition, an R/GA Company:

The ideal person

  • Driven by Curiosity: Brings a multidisciplinary background spanning design, strategy, or product management.
  • Balances Speed & Rigor: Blends rapid experimentation and fast prototyping with strict design systems and brand standards to pressure-test ideas effectively.
  • Embraces Problem-Solving: Unafraid to say "I don't know," dive into the challenge, and return with clear, actionable solutions.

You bring

  • Industry Experience: 6+ years in design, strategy, product management, or a related tech-forward environment, with a track record of leading accounts across multiple clients and verticals, including Fortune 500 brands and large-scale platforms.
  • Proven Portfolio: A strong showcase of past projects (deployed repos, working agentic systems, live demos) demonstrating equal strength in high-craft creative output and technical execution.
  • Engineering Fluency: Hands-on experience with production-ready stacks (Python, TypeScript, agent SDKs, MCP, GCP, etc.) and modern AI models. Skilled at shaping AI-integrated workflows to accelerate, enhance, or rethink deliverables.
  • Creative Ops & Systems Thinking: Strong instincts for systematizing creativity without stifling it, alongside experience building scalable frameworks, modular systems, and efficient process designs.
  • Strategic Acumen: The ability to balance brand, audience, and business goals against the possibilities and constraints of emerging tech, seeing both the high-level strategy and the technical execution.

Project Details:

  • Duration: 10/13/26 - 12/18/26
  • Schedule 40+ hours per week, Monday through Friday
