Wavelo is a SaaS business on a mission to make telecoms a breeze.

We provide flexible software that modernizes how communication service providers (CSPs) do business, helping them drive more value, focus on customer experience, and scale their operations faster.

What's New at Tucows

As part of Tucows (NASDAQ:TCX, TSX:TC)—one of the world’s largest Internet services companies—Wavelo is backed by outstanding resources and talent. We embrace a people-first philosophy that is rooted in respect, trust, and flexibility. We believe that whatever works for our employees is what works best for us. It’s also why the majority of our roles are remote-first, meaning you can work from anywhere you can connect to the Internet!

The work we do genuinely changes lives. If this sounds exciting, we’d love to hear from you!

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Agile Facilitator to support multiple development teams in fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high-performance delivery. This role is centered on creating an environment where teams feel supported, empowered, and engaged in their work. A key focus will be on team productivity —ensuring that Agile processes enhance, rather than hinder, the team's ability to work effectively and enjoyably.

As a servant leader, you will guide teams through Agile frameworks, proactively remove roadblocks, and champion Agile maturity across the organization. If you have a passion for coaching teams, driving process improvements, and creating a positive, motivating work environment—this role is for you.

This is a remote role and is currently accepting applicants based in US or Canada.

What you will be doing (Key Responsibilities)

  • Serve as a dedicated Agile Facilitator for multiple development teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Coach teams on Agile best practices, ensuring alignment with the organization's customized Agile processes (e.g., Nexus).
  • Support the adoption and refinement of scaled Agile frameworks, optimizing team-level processes to drive faster, more reliable, and predictable delivery.
  • Proactively identify and remove impediments, ensuring teams remain focused and productive.
  • Facilitate all core Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.), driving alignment on sprint goals and commitments.
  • Track and report on team delivery metrics (e.g., velocity, cycle time, burndown charts), using these insights to identify opportunities for process improvements and predictability enhancements.
  • Act as a coach and mentor, helping teams improve their Agile maturity and delivery effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product owners and engineering managers, to align team efforts with organizational goals.
  • Champion team’s success by ensuring Agile practices support engagement, motivation, and sustainable ways of working.
  • Continuously refine and optimize Agile processes, ensuring workflows remain efficient, scalable, and adaptable.

What you bring (Required Qualifications & Skills)

  • Hands-on experience in an Agile role within a Scrum environment or the ability to demonstrate equivalent expertise
  • Ideally two to four years of experience in this space
  • Proficiency in Jira, and Confluence, and other Agile tools (or the ability to learn quickly).
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with Scrum, Kanban, Nexus, or SAFe.

Who you are (Soft Skills)

  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Empathy to understand and respond to team dynamics and individual needs.
  • Problem-solving mindset to identify and address blockers quickly, fostering a solution-focused approach.
  • Facilitation expertise in running productive Agile ceremonies and fostering team engagement.
  • Adaptability to evolving priorities and team structures.
  • Continuous improvement to build trust and influence teams to achieve their goals collaboratively.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in story decomposition or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) to support high-quality backlog refinement and test-driven workflows.

The base salary range for this position is $90,090 - $100,100 USD for US residents OR $84,780 - $94,200 CAD for Canadian residents. Other countries will differ. Range may vary on a number of factors including, but not limited to: location, experience and qualifications.
