About the Role
We're seeking a Agentic Architect to translate high-level AI transformation strategies into actionable technical implementations. Working closely with AI Transformation Specialists, you'll map conceptual workflows to specific agents, tools, and APIs, while maintaining a pulse on the rapidly evolving landscape of AI capabilities.
What You’ll Do:
- Technical Specification Development: Leverage AI tools to convert high-level process designs into detailed technical requirements for specific agents and tasks. Build initial agent orchestration workflows and prototypes that demonstrate the intended automation flow, then perform quality assurance on implementations delivered by the ATAPI team to ensure they meet specifications.
- Cloud-Driven Innovation: Lead the design and implementation of agentic systems leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle). Focus on enterprise architecture, seamless integrations, and data management to drive impactful solutions.
- Solution Discovery & Assessment: Research and evaluate existing agents, MCP tools, and APIs that could fulfill identified automation needs. Conduct technical feasibility assessments including performance benchmarks, integration complexity, and scalability considerations.
- Capability Monitoring: Maintain comprehensive tracking of agent/tool/API releases from key SaaS vendors and internal development teams. Create and update capability matrices that map available solutions to business requirements, highlighting new opportunities as they emerge.
- Gap Analysis & Roadmapping: Document technical gaps where no suitable agent or tool exists for required functionality. Collaborate with Transformation Specialists to assess build-vs-wait decisions and prepare detailed requirements for the ATAPI engineering team when custom development is needed.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related technical field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in API integration, micro-services architecture, or automation engineering
- Deep understanding of agent frameworks, MCP protocols, and modern API standards (REST, GraphQL, Webhooks)
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or equivalent cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle).
- Must demonstrate a strong understanding of enterprise architecture, integrations, and data management in complex system environments.
- Experience with technical documentation and requirements gathering
- Proficiency in at least one programming language for testing and prototyping
- Strong technical evaluation skills with ability to quickly assess new tools and technologies
- Excellent documentation abilities for both technical and business audiences
- Systems thinking approach to understanding component interactions
- Detail-oriented mindset for specification development
- Collaborative skills for working between business and engineering teams
Bonus Points for:
- Hands-on experience implementing AI agents or automation workflows
- Familiarity with major AI platforms and their tool ecosystems
- Background in enterprise integration patterns
- Experience with API governance and lifecycle management
