About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional with over 10 years of industry experience working with Customer Marketing or Digital Product Agencies to spearhead our Agency partnership initiatives for Northern and Latin America. This role requires a hands-on individual contributor who will own the agency go-to-market (GTM) strategy, focusing on approaching Agencies and System Integrators (SI), onboarding, certifying, and developing agency relationships to drive technology adoption and mutual business growth.

What We're Looking For:

You are a structured yet creative thinker who thrives on building scalable programs and measuring their impact while maintaining the ability to roll up your sleeves and execute autonomously. With a proven history of managing and growing agency, consultancy, and/or SI partnerships for a SaaS company — or deep experience in customer-facing and business-relationship roles — you have the business acumen and sales orientation to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Your dynamic personality, strong relationship-building skills, and ability to foster trust set you apart. You bring a competitive spirit, a drive to exceed goals, and a refusal to settle for mediocrity. You are adaptable, thrive in ambiguous situations, and embrace challenges as opportunities for growth.

You have excellent communication skills, a relentless work ethic, and an eagerness to contribute to a growing team poised to make a significant impact in a fast-growing industry. Above all, you are passionate about building partnerships that deliver measurable value for all stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or related roles within the technology or SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing successful agency partnerships that drive revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of Customer engagement solutions and the digital marketing landscape.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with agency partners and attend industry events.

What you will do:

  • Develop and Execute Agency GTM Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive plan to engage and collaborate with Customer Marketing and Digital Product agencies, consultancy firms and relevant SIs, enhancing Airship's market presence.
  • Agency Onboarding and Certification: Design and manage programs to train and certify agencies on Airship's platform, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional services to clients.
  • Project Outsourcing: Identify and delegate suitable projects to certified agencies, promoting technology adoption and overall success of Airship customers.
  • Foster Reciprocal Relationships: Cultivate strong, mutually beneficial partnerships where agencies advocate for Airship in client opportunities, driving new business avenues.
  • Strategic Service Offerings: Collaborate with agencies and internal Airship teams to develop and offer key services that enhance customer success and satisfaction with Airship's solutions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and regularly assess the effectiveness of agency partnerships, making data-driven adjustments to strategies as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, customer success, services, marketing and product teams to align agency partnership efforts with overall company objectives.

Work Location & Travel Requirements

Airship’s ‘Digital First’ approach to work means that for the majority of our roles, work can be performed remotely, either some or most of the time. Airship believes that flexible work contributes to a more productive and more equitable work environment, and that Airshippers are able to collaborate, innovate, and support one another across different locations and timezones.

Some roles may require that employees perform their work from a specific location to support business activities, and/or be within proximity to an Airship office location or customer or partner locations, while other roles can be performed 100% remotely.

This position is fully remote and may require up to 30% travel based on business needs or as requested by your manager.

Compensation

Airship’s compensation is determined by a variety of factors including market data, business needs, and geography. Base pay is part of your total compensation package and is dependent on multiple factors, including: relevant skills, work experience, business priorities, market demands, and location.

The starting base pay range for this position is: $149,000 - $174,000 USD per year. Some roles may also be eligible for commission, bonus, or other performance incentives. Airship believes that employees should have the opportunity to benefit from value-creation, so equity is also offered with this role. In addition, Airship offers a robust benefits package as part of our Total Rewards approach to compensation.

In alignment with our commitment to equal opportunity, Airship will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a way that adheres to the principles of fairness and the requirements of local Fair Chance laws, where applicable.

By submitting this application, I affirm that the facts set forth in it are true and complete to the best of my knowledge. I understand that if I am employed, false statements, omissions, or misleading information given in my application, interview(s), or in a background check may result in dismissal.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
