As an Agency Development Representative , you’ll play a key role in driving business growth by building strong relationships with agents and helping them succeed. You’ll use your consultative sales skills to increase quote volume, improve close rates, and expand our agency footprint. This is a high-impact, B2B sales role where your ability to influence, strategize, and execute will directly contribute to our success.
What does a Agency Development Representative do at GAINSCO?
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals by engaging with agents and documenting activities in Salesforce.
- Set mutual sales goals with agents and develop action plans to help them succeed.
- Use data and tools to identify opportunities, track progress, and improve performance.
- Host virtual meetings with agents and internal partners to drive engagement and results.
- Re-engage inactive agents and target specific market segments to grow production.
- Increase quote volume and close rates by tailoring strategies to agent performance and market trends.
- Analyze market data and agent feedback to refine sales strategies.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to stay informed on product updates, rate revisions, and discount enhancements.
- Provide support on GAINSCO Connect, policy binding procedures, and claims processes.
- Share monthly sales targets and insights with internal teams to align efforts.
What is required?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience:
- 4–5 years of experience in insurance sales is required.
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM or similar platforms is required.
Other skills and abilities:
- Strong ability to influence and motivate agents to drive results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
- Highly organized with strong follow-up and time management skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for helping others succeed.
What else do you need to know?
- This is a virtual/remote position requiring quarterly travel
- Must have a valid Driver License.
- Competitive salary based on experience, with bonus opportunity.
