About the Job:
We are seeking to hire an experienced Agency professional to join a new Agency Development Team in support of the Yahoo Ads division (direct advertising on Yahoo’s owned & operated properties). This team will be instrumental in developing, maintaining and deepening senior relationships at the top holding companies and their subsidiaries. They will partner collaboratively with Agency Development Leads for the Yahoo DSP to best service the agency community.
In this role you will:
Report directly into the new Head of Agency Development at Yahoo Ads
Successfully create key partnerships to influence and motivate advertiser business strategies, focusing on Holding Company Ad Agency business and their subsidiaries
Effectively communicate the Yahoo Ads value proposition to agency leadership and stakeholders
Develop and negotiate upfront agreements with specialized agency teams that grow revenue
Collaborate with Yahoo Ads sellers to introduce relationships at various agency levels to strategically and thoughtfully achieve revenue goals
Stay current on all industry trends and provide internal recommendations, as relevant
Act as company spokesperson at key industry events and serve as a credible source of education in the marketplace
Maintain detailed knowledge of our media and data solutions and effectively communicate value proposition to potential clients
Gather market feedback and provide consistent updates to GTM, packaging and product to drive innovation
Deliver new leads and business opportunities to the Yahoo Ads sales organization in order to hit revenue growth targets
Requirements:
10+ years’ experience in the advertising industry across agency sales and/or business development with a concentration in digital advertising
Established relationships and access points with key agency decision makers
Proven ability to drive results, as well as create and sell-in innovative solutions to clients
Deep understanding of agencies, how they work, their hierarchy and functions
Proven ability to simplify and package complex product offerings for appropriate audiences.
Ability to handle many initiatives simultaneously and prioritize according to revenue goals
Ability to think strategically, understand marketer needs and creatively translate these needs into compelling concepts and programs
Love of the hunt – and the ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently

The compensation for this position ranges from $217,905.00 - $473,710.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
