POSITION SUMMARY
Blue Acorn iCi is looking for a detail-oriented QA Specialist with experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The QA Specialist will work as part of software development teams focused on AEM and content management systems that support enterprise marketing activities. This role is responsible for executing quality assurance and testing plans across AEM projects, ensuring delivery of customized digital experiences across multiple channels including web, mobile, and social. This is a remote role within the United States.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute test cases and test plans for AEM projects in collaboration with developers and project managers.
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure system stability and quality.
Participate in defect tracking, reporting, and validation of fixes.
Support verification and validation processes, including defect detection, inspection, and testing methods.
Contribute to quality inspections of requirements, designs, and specifications.
Collaborate effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment while proactively sharing knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Hands-on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) expertise (Sites, Assets).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 2+ years of QA/testing experience for website development projects.
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience testing public-facing, responsive websites.
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Exposure to QA automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) is a plus.
Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and API testing (REST, SOAP).
Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA), performance testing, and security best practices.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Experience with analytics, SEO, or community engagement (meetups, workshops, conferences) is a plus.
