As we embark on our next stage of growth and evolution, Vestmark Advisory Solutions seeks an Advisory Consultant. This person will be a key member of the team, contributing to the development of proposal generation, ensuring success with Financial Advisors in the adoption of direct indexing portfolios, and managing existing client relationships. In addition, this person will work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with a growth mindset to support future expansions of new products and asset classes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Financial Advisors and support our sales team to help grow and manage existing client relationships
- Assist Financial Advisors with proposal generation, opening new accounts, and transition analysis
- Attend industry events and participate on client onboarding calls
- Work with investment team to communicate investment strategies, process and outcome
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and email
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve operational processes and systems
- Contribute to the growth and development of our core values: We Before Me, Positive Energy, Knowledge Explorer, and Own It
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
- Series 65 required
- Prefer CIMA, CFP or CFA designation
- At least 2-4+ years of experience working with Financial Advisors
- 2+ years of experience in financial services industry with sound understanding of financial markets, investment products and modern portfolio management theories
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, team-player
- Must be resourceful with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills to process high email volume, client calls and ad-hoc projects
- Knowledge of (RIAs) registered investment advisors, (SMAs) separately managed accounts, (UMAs) unified managed accounts, tax-efficient products and/or Direct Indexing is a plus
