We are looking for an Administrative Assistant I based in Boston, MA to join our Energy Efficiency Programs Team.  As a member of the Energy Solutions team, you will have a broad impact on energy efficiency markets and greenhouse gas reductions through our work for major North American utilities, program administrators and other national leaders in energy efficiency. This unique market opportunity, paired with Energy Solution's mission driven approach, creates a perfect environment for an individual who wants to have an active voice in shaping the nation’s energy future.


The person filling this role will be required to work in a hybrid work environment in our Boston, MA office and expected to be in the office a minimum of once a week. 


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing incentive program claims including attachments and sales data to ensure program requirements are met
  • Communicating with participants on any claims needing further documentation or answering program-related questions
  • Payee & user account creation: entering in information into our online website
  • Internal communications with team members through participation in team meetings and regular progress reports on assigned tasks
  • Formatting Excel spreadsheets and uploading to our online platform
  • Support ad-hoc projects as directed by team supervisor

Minimum qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of administrative or data entry experience
  • BA or BS degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Intermediate experience in spreadsheets and proficiency in database management required
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and juggle competing priorities with minimal guidance
  • Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, accountability, and ownership of assigned tasks
  • Ability to remain organized, give attention to detail, follow instructions and multi-task in a professional and effective manner
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office tools including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • A proven professional or personal commitment to the betterment of the environment and the reduction of GHGs is a plus but not required
  • This will be a hybrid role with the expectation of working from our Boston, MA office a minimum of one day per week.

 

Compensation is commensurate with experience within the pay band of $21 - $26/Hourly

Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a generous retirement package. Energy Solutions provides an excellent benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, other pre-tax contribution plans and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

Office Locations and a Remote Workforce

Energy Solutions operates as a predominantly remote workforce with offices in  six different locations. Employees who reside within 40 miles of an office (except New York) will be assigned to that location, though in-office attendance requirements may vary by team.
