- Independently develop and execute complex experience analysis across life, health, annuity, and related products, ensuring analytical rigor and transparency
- Recommend actuarial assumptions informed by emerging experience, industry benchmarks, and business context, clearly articulating impacts to earnings, capital, pricing, valuation, and risk management
- Act as an analytical owner for key experience and assumption processes, proactively identifying issues, data limitations, or risks and driving solutions
- Support governance committees related to experience studies and assumptions by preparing analyses, materials, and recommendations consistent with corporate standards
- Communicate complex actuarial findings in a clear, decision-oriented manner
- Own high-quality written deliverables, presentations, and documentation related to experience studies and assumptions, continuously improving clarity, structure, and impact
- Identify opportunities to enhance experience monitoring, analytics, and assumption-setting processes through improved methodologies, data pipelines, tools, and visualization
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- ASA designation
- 5+ years of actuarial experience in areas of experience studies, assumptions, pricing, valuation, or risk management
Ideal Qualifications
- FSA designation
- Experience across multiple product lines (life, health, annuity)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience with data science, analytics and visualization skills (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx) and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance workflows and analysis
- Exposure to assumption governance or enterprise actuarial oversight activities
