Matrix is seeking a skilled and proactive Actimize Support Engineer with deep expertise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) systems. This role involves supporting mission-critical applications such as Actimize SAM, CDD, and ActOne, ensuring system stability, performance, and compliance across infrastructure and data layers.
Key Responsibilities
🔧 Application Support
- Provide L1–L3 support for Actimize platforms (SAM, CDD, ActOne).
- Monitor system health, jobs, and alerts; resolve performance and application errors.
- Coordinate with vendors for patches, hotfixes, deployments, and escalations.
🖥️ Infrastructure & IT Operations
- Manage Windows/Linux servers, including patching, upgrades, and hardening.
- Support deployments, environment refreshes, and troubleshooting with IT teams.
- Ensure availability of compute, storage, and network resources.
🔐 Security & Compliance
- Apply OS, DB, and middleware patches; remediate vulnerabilities in collaboration with InfoSec.
- Manage password rotation and enforce security controls.
- Ensure compliance with internal audit and external regulatory standards.
🗃️ Database & Data Support
- Collaborate with DBAs for performance tuning, backup/restore, and data refreshes.
- Troubleshoot ETL/data load issues and support reconciliation across systems.
🤝 Vendor & Integration Management
- Work with Actimize and third-party vendors on deployments and issue resolution.
- Troubleshoot integration and data feed problems across platforms.
📊 Monitoring & Incident Management
- Proactively monitor logs, jobs, and system alerts.
- Manage incidents via ticketing systems; perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
📋 Governance & Reporting
- Maintain detailed runbooks and a centralized knowledge base.
- Generate regular SLA, performance, and incident reports.
- Participate in CAB/change management processes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in application support, preferably in AML or financial services.
- Hands-on experience with Actimize SAM, CDD, ActOne modules.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments, SQL, and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with InfoSec practices and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
