Amex GBT is seeking an Acquisition Integration Manager to join its Risk, Compliance & ESG team. This role is planned for a 2-year Fixed-Term and throughout this time, this individual will lead integration planning and execution efforts for Amex GBT’s acquisitions. Integration managers oversee and influence cross-functional integration teams to ensure all relevant tasks are completed, including activities ranging from developing and implementing actionable plans to achieve transaction objectives, to diving deep on tactical aspects of integration projects. Stakeholder groups include business and technology teams, HR, legal, finance, and communications.  Successful Acquisition Integration Managers at Amex GBT are self-starters, able to work autonomously, natural problem solvers, collaborative, flexible, and not fazed by adversity or ambiguity.
 

What You'll Do:

  • Managing several acquisition integration projects simultaneously.
  • Defining, tracking and communicating appropriate performance measurements to project team and stakeholders.
  • Working with functional teams to align resources to integration plans.
  • Communicating project priority and set project task priority for related teams.
  • Preparing appropriate documentation to close out integration projects and facilitate effective hand-offs.
  • Participating in the continuous improvement of GBT’s integration processes and best practices.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of project implementation experience.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, including MS Project.
  • Bias for action in times of ambiguity.
  • Effective and collaborative communication and writing skills, with the ability to customize approach for a variety of audiences ranging from senior executives to junior resources.
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision and manage tasks from start to finish.
  • Ability to lead by example, demonstrating strong ethical standards, and effectively influence management in all professional interactions.
  • M&A integration, corporate development or management consulting experience.
  • Compliance, legal or regulatory experience at a global multi-national corporation or a leading global law firm.
  • Ability to learn business processes and balance business opportunities with regulatory and reputation risk.
  • Technical acumen relevant to the travel business (i.e. Global Distribution Networks, Lexis Nexis Bridger) and the ability to converse on technical integration topics.
  • Ability to travel up to 80%.

The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $70,000 to $140,000.  The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role.  Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
