Accounting Associate

Our not-for-profit hospice and palliative care organization has an opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented, compassionate, and resourceful individual. Candidate must have strong communication and time management skills and be eager and willing to handle the diverse responsibilities of the job with a helpful, professional attitude, and a friendly demeanor. 


Job Responsibilities:

The Accounting Associate engages in fiscal billing and supports multiple aspects of managing and analyzing the organization’s financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

 

Schedule and Weekly Hours:

Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

 

Education, Skills and Experience:

  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred.  
  • Insurance billing background (hospice or other type of facility) or some accounting experience.
  • Experience with any accounting program (QuickBooks, Sage, Aplos, etc)

Pay Range:

$46,000-$50,000: This number reflects an average starting range for this position. Individual pay is determined through a variety of factors including experience, education, certifications, and skills and can exceed the range.
