Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions; ensure timely vendor payments and customer collections.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash positions.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal accounting policies.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and problem-solving
- Knowledge of tax compliance and reporting.
