Accountant

We’re seeking an Accountant to manage various accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This role includes preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with month-end close processes including detailed fluctuation analysis. The Accountant will also support audits and contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software are essential for success in this position.

Your Impact:

• Assist in the daily premium accounting functions of the Brokerage and Programs accounting team

• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.

• Support the unclaimed property process

• Support audits and ensure compliance with GAAP.

• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.

Successful Candidates Will Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles

• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
