Applicants for this role will have the flexibility to work remotely anywhere in the Continental United States.

Position Purpose: In this role you will be a key member of the Regulatory Reporting Group who is responsible for all financial reporting of assigned legal entities inclusive of the following tasks:

• Complete quarterly and annual NAIC filings, ensuring compliance with NAIC and other regulatory requirements
• Prepare various pages and schedules, coordinate submissions of other pages and schedules from internal partners for annual & quarterly statements
• Work closely with internal partners and external auditors to complete legal entity external audits
• Prepare MD&A’s including variance analysis
• Generate and record Statutory entries to the general ledger
• Assist on DOI examinations as needed
• Assist on department projects as needed

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong analytical skills preferred

License/Certification:

• CPA preferred
