Job Overview

We are in search of a dynamic and growth-oriented Account Manager to support and expand Coretelligent’s Marquee client segment ($75K–$250K annually). These accounts are critical to our long-term growth strategy and require a balance of relationship stewardship and commercial execution. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for your assigned accounts, responsible for driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities, managing renewals, and ensuring consistent value delivery through collaboration with our technical teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and brings strong communication skills, a proactive sales mindset, and the ability to connect IT solutions to real business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of Marquee clients, serving as the primary relationship lead and trusted advisor.
  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand service utilization and deepen account value.
  • Lead client renewal cycles and contract updates, ensuring commercial terms align with client growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and execution against SLAs.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to understand evolving needs, present new solutions, and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Proactively monitor account health, usage trends, and renewal timing to mitigate churn risk.
  • Maintain accurate records of account activity, pipeline, and communication within CRM systems.
  • Act as an advocate for the client internally, ensuring their needs are prioritized across service, support, and delivery functions.
  • Help transition Key Accounts into the Marquee segment by demonstrating value and supporting scalable growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in account management, client success, or inside sales — preferably in IT, SaaS, or managed services.
  • Strong commercial instincts with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets through upsell and cross-sell.
  • Ability to build consultative relationships with clients and align services with their evolving business needs.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and highly organized with strong communication skills
  • Experience managing multiple accounts and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with IT services such as cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and service desk is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and renewal tracking systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong understanding of software licensing frameworks is a plus.
  • Familiarity with IT services such as cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and service desk is preferred, but not required.
  • Passion for technology and helping businesses achieve success through better IT solutions

Salary Range for this position (depending upon experience):

$90,000 - $110,000

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
