Real Chemistry is looking for a Account Manager, Med Affairs to join our growing team!  

The Account Manager serves as the day-to-day supporting lead within the Scientific and Medical Affairs team assigned to specific accounts and clients within the team’s book of business. They are responsible for supporting the management of projects, collaborating with internal colleagues and maintaining company best practices related to process, financial standards and client satisfaction.

This is a hybrid role, based in any of our US offices—including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco—or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs.

What you’ll do: 

  • The Account Manager leads broad, complex workstreams and is confident working with clients and internal teams to provide high quality deliverables and demonstrates the commitment to go the extra mile for clients and colleagues. The role includes:

    • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues

    • Attention to detail

    • Organizing and managing project delivery, ensuring excellent outcomes

    • Supporting a range of products and services, such as live programs and events, virtual programs, content development materials, and digital projects

    • Basic understanding of various client brands and disease areas

    • Coordinating effectively and efficiently with appropriate members of the team

    • Ensuring timely delivery of projects

  • They receive limited guidance on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments  

  • They communicate information in succinct and accurate ways to client and management and have the skills to develop agendas, recap summaries and email communications with little to no supervision

  • They help manage internal team resources for project health. 

  • They are comfortable working with project management to request pricing for new projects, understanding the needs of both the client and internal teams/resources

  • With knowledge of client submission guidelines and account best practices, they are responsible for reviewing all projects and preparing or overseeing error-free tactical submissions for client reviews/approvals

  • They know when to elevate risks; and when to engage their manager and/or senior management

What you should have:  

  • Approximately 2-3 years of prior experience in a healthcare agency client services role

  • Prior medical communications or medical affairs experience

  • A good understanding of science and medicine

  • Ability to prioritize, and excellent time management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Competent in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Veeva

  • Capable of coordinating multiple projects within an account

Pay Range: $75,000.00-$85,000.00

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.  Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
