About Broccoli

Broccoli AI is building the future of customer service for the trades. Our AI voice agents help plumbing, HVAC, and electrical businesses deliver fast, reliable, and empathetic support around the clock. Our mission is to democratize great customer service so every contractor, no matter their size, can give customers the experience they deserve.

The Role

We’ve grown from $0 to $5M ARR in just one year by helping hundreds of contractors answer every call, book more jobs, and boost revenue without adding headcount. Now, we’re ready to scale deeper into the enterprise. PE roll ups control hundreds of companies in the trades — we’ve proven success with their pilots, and it’s time to roll out across entire portfolios.

As our first Account Manager, Strategic Accounts, you’ll own the commercial relationship with our largest enterprise customers. You’ll partner with Customer Success to turn 3-location pilots into 200-location rollouts, negotiate umbrella MSAs, and build trusted relationships with PE operating partners and group executives. This is a high-visibility, quota-carrying role where you’ll shape how Broccoli expands inside the most important companies in the industry.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and grow strategic accounts across PE-backed groups and roll-ups.

  • Drive renewals, expansions, and upsells across existing portfolios.

  • Partner with Customer Success to package proof points and ROI into expansion deals.

  • Build relationships with group-level executives (finance, ops, call center leaders).

  • Negotiate 6–7 figure enterprise contracts and MSAs.

Who You Are
  • Experienced account manager with a track record of expanding enterprise accounts.

  • Comfortable carrying quota and negotiating complex contracts.

  • Skilled at building executive-level relationships and navigating political org structures.

  • Data-driven and ROI-focused — you know how to sell efficiency and impact.

  • Collaborative operator who works closely with Customer Success, Sales, and Product.

Why Broccoli
  • Join a rocket ship: $0 to $5M ARR in one year, with massive enterprise demand.

  • Own strategic relationships at the very top of the home services industry.

  • High visibility, direct founder access, and the opportunity to shape how we scale.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
